Product Description

The lab-setup consists of a single pipe line which is installed with one orifice meter. Orifice meter is made from transparent acrylic. Pressure tapings on the Orifice meter are connected to differential manometer to measure pressure difference. A flow control valve is provided on the downstream of the Orifice meter so as to regulate the flow of water using this valve.

The latest apparatus is a self-reliant water re-circulating unit, provided with a sump tank and a centrifugal pump etc. Flow in the water line is adjusted by Flow control valve and by-pass valve to conduct the experiment on different flow rates. Flow rate of water is measured with the help of markings provided on the measuring tank and stop watch.

SCOPE OF STUDY:

    To determine co-efficient of discharge of Orifice meter.

Control Panel Features are:

Standard make On/Off Switch, Mains Indicator, etc. Tanks will be made of Stainless Steel.

*An ENGLISH instruction manual with elaborate experimental procedures and block diagram etc. shall be provided with the training system set-up.
